Known initially as Rex Engraving- a letterpress and photo engraving company founded by Julius Miller in 1959 - Rex 3 was considered one of the first printing companies to help put Miami's advertising industry on the map in the early 60's. At first, specializing in the advertising space by working with high-end agencies like Crispin Porter + Bogusky (CP+B) and Young and Rubiman (Y&R), Rex 3 eventually became the commercial printer of choice for cruise lines and high-end hotel chains in Miami.
Over the last 60 years, we've worked with all kinds of brands in many projects, and more often than you think we see an awful constant: great designs and poor execution. Print and mail production is somehow excluded from the planning or creative phase of the project, creating challenges for both printers and their clients.
We live offline and interact with real people all the time. Brands cannot forget this; otherwise, they'll miss out on big opportunities to connect with people. That's where our print consulting services begin. Unfortunately though, there has been more of an emphasis on online marketing for its obvious benefit.

I called this company at 9:24 AM on 12-17-21. The phone rang about 15 times before someone picked up. I said I need information on targeted mailing lists (which they promote on their website). The person answering said they do not do that and she could not help me. HUH? I re-read their website and saw more info about targeted mailing lists. I called again - and the 2nd time got someone else who said no one was available to help me. C'mon - REX 3 - you can do better than this, I just wasted a bunch of time and now I have to go find someone else. Just not a great experience at all.

They called me to set up a phone job interview. They selected the time and selected the next day. The next day arrived, time arrived, they did not call. They couldn't even keep an appointment that they set. Not sure if it's funny or just plain sad! Hey Rex 3, if u read this and want an interview, my wage requirement just went up another $3 per hour.
