At Consolidated Press, we turned on our first press way back in 1966. The printing business has changed a lot since then and we've kept pace. Constantly updating our equipment, and adding the latest digital technologies. But there's one thing we haven't changed - and never will: our old-fashioned one-on-one relationship with our customers. We still believe that service is an honorable profession. In a world obsessed with the "bottom line", we still hold fast to a simple truth: If we keep you happy, the bottom line will take care of itself.
Services
The way we see it, there are basically three kinds of printers. There are printers who specialize in exotic, sophisticated projects; the really big stuff. Other printers specialize in the everyday things; the not-so-glamorous sort of printing everybody needs on a regular basis. Then there's a third kind of printer.
Today's printing technologies were unimaginable when we first opened our doors for business in 1966. As the "state of the art" has moved forward, we've kept pace - every step of the way. Today, Consolidated Press is completely digital in our pre-press services department. We offer an array of printing options (both conventional and digital), and a full-service bindery too! Our pre-press operation utilizes a PDF workflow and integrated imposition package. We accept digital files from Macintosh and PC platforms.
You have finally created the ultimate document! It looks simply wonderful on your screen and it printed just fine on your laserprinter. Sadly though, that does not mean that a service bureau or printer can be as enthusiastic about this creation as you are. We could encounter a lot of difficulties because of things you forgot, did not communicate or did not know about. In fact, research at RIT has stated that up to 78% of all files provided by customers to print service providers are not ready to print.

Came here to get a complex portfolio project and resume produced and I was so impressed with the final product that they handed me that I would recommend them every time. The people that I talked to about price and logistics were the same people who actually printed and worked with the machines so they were very knowledgeable could suggest changes based on the questions and assumptions that I brought with me. Will definitely go back.
