Please avoid. Having been informed by the sales guy (Jason) of a confirmed build slot and placed the order, I was subsequently advised that due to the chip shortage this had been put back four months. This is outside of their control. However, the significant cancellation fee they tried to charge me to withdraw having sourced another vehicle (over 1000!) is not.
Be careful what you sign up to. Update - Thank you for your reply. However, unless recently changed, this is a blatant lie. When i sought to cancel you advised me of the costs to withdraw. When I later raised a formal complaint you referred to your terms of business / cancellation fees and your right to charge such fees quoting clauses 2.10 5.3 and 5.4 if an order was cancelled.

I would just like to place a 1 star review for the sheer and utter disappointment in dealing with this company after placing an order which was confirmed for a Mitsubishi L200 on March 31st which was all approved and then i receive a phone call saying that the vehilce had been sold to another customer after Adam the sales rep telling me that everything was confirmed and i should receive the new vehilce with in a couple of weeks i actually spent 1000 on a number plate being a 21 reg which is now no good unless i find another company to supply me the same deal what an absolute waste of time not even worthy of 1 star shocking service do not use be aware! I wonder if any one will reply back to this 1 star review as they do to all the 5 star reviews that are placed on the site i bet they dont even offer an apology lets see.

Very happy with the service! My new Range Rover Evoque came on the exact day they promised, I had updates of the progress by email, text & phone calls, all the employees were lovely especially Jordan my account manager - if i had any questions at all he came straight back to me, the customer service was exceptional! The price was very competitive and the car is exactly how described. 10/10 5* Thank you Very Much!

Just placed an order for another vehicle on contract hire with Danny Farrow and once again, he has comprehensively beaten all other quotes and provided service that is second to none. This is probably the 9th or 10th vehicle order I have placed with Danny and XLCR over the last couple of years with each and every one going off without a hitch. I have recommended XLCR to other friends and colleagues and they have also all been extremely impressed with the deal and service that they received.
Very very happy with the service I get from Danny and the rest of the XLCR team - I suspect we will be continuing to source vehicles from them well into the foreseeable future!

After ordering a car in October which was due for delivery on 4th November I still have no car. I fully appreciate that XLCR are not in control of the deliveries. HOWEVER I got a call Monday this week telling me the car is in stock and I would get a call later that day with a delivery date. No call. 3 emails later and no response. It is now Friday going in to Xmas week and I have no doubt that I will not have my car for Xmas. Further to that when inquiring to cancel (LTD company order) I was told it would be 500 + with no proof of the costs which I was told I would get in order to be able to make a decision to cancel.
Again the costs are not all from XLCR but from the Leasing Company but I am still waiting for proof of the costs. Over all I would NEVER use this company again or thebestcardeals.co.uk Terrible customer service.

Spent 18k to buy a van in September 2018. I was thinking it will be a brand new van but it was delivered with 260 miles on the meter. Didn't make a fuss just took van as it is. When the mileage hit 10k thought to do a full service and realised they never send me the service book. Contacted XLCR few times to witnessed their ball passing game and finally got an answer saying they have sent me service book on the day one - God knows what has happened as I never seen this book.
Now I have to purchase a service book. To make it worst gear box was faulty hence took van to Citroen to realised the van is registered to a different name on their system - and I am the first owner. Too many question marks. I will just simply stay away from you guys - learnt my lesson which cost me 18k.

One of the worst purchases I have ever made. Tried resolving the issues for two months. Keep changing their mind by the minute and now I am left to deal with the car service and DVLA issue myself, something they should have done it. Look, sound and appear very professional before purchase but completely opposite with post-sale issues. In response to the the seller's Reply:- My review is 100% genuine and represents the true events.

Once I dint receive a satisfactory answer from XLCR and knowing the car would cause me issues in long run, I flogged it within 3 months by accepting 2k less If you read other reviews, you may find I am not the only one! As for the British Vehicle Rental Association, I purchased the vehicle CASH so they had no involvement what so ever! Google tells me my reviews were read by 114 people so far so I do hope people are taking extra precaution

Having toured the entire building and discussing a lot of the ins and outs of the company, this is definitely a company who you can comfortably do business with.
