Marking Systems, Inc. is a family-owned and -operated printing company started in 1971 by Henry Van Beber. Henry got his start selling for 3M's Commercial Graphics division back in the mid to late '60s. Marking Systems was originally named Vanco and started out of our family home in Richardson, Texas, in 1969.
Marking Systems has worked exclusively with Original Equipment Manufacturers for more than 30 years. Industries served include test and measurement, telecommunications, aerospace, military, electrical distribution, medical, security and more. In most case we work with directly with engineers to develop high quality, custom OEM label solutions at a low cost.
At MSI, we are a custom industrial nameplate manufacturer. Product identification is a crucial part of most any industry, and nameplates not only do that job, but boost your brand awareness in the process. Nameplates are critical and give your product its visual representation to end users. They are oftentimes your product's "first impression" to the end users.
Custom overlay manufacturing is one of the main parts of our business. Overlays are critical and give your product its visual representation to your end user, They are oftentimes your products "first impression" and give it the "look." Overlays are commonly the most recognizable component on your product directing the end-user around the keypad, often representing what each button will do.

The customer service provided by Holly, Jacob, and the rest of the crew at MSI was simply exceptional. They listened to what our company needed, and did everything they could to help us. Our requirements weren't easy either! We needed overlays for eight different models that included about 300 holes to be cut out, they had to be precise and they needed to do exact color matching all by a certain deadline.
When they were running a day behind schedule they actually overnighted the shipment to us at no extra cost! Did I mention their pricing is exceptional? Well, it is. They quoted us for about half the cost of all the other companies I looked into. And unlike other companies I've dealt with, they care more about providing customers with an enjoyable experience than they do about profitability. I would absolutely recommend them to other businesses and plan to continue working with them in the future. Thanks guys!
