Screen printing is a printing technique where a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a substrate. The screen mesh area uses a blocking stencil or emulsion with an image exposed within it. When printing, a squeegee blade is moved across the screen to fill the open mesh and graphic areas with ink; then a similar print stroke is used which causes the screen to touch the substrate momentarily pushing ink through the mesh openings transferring the image onto the substrate.Screen printing meets many Mil-Spec requirements for industrial marking methods.
Since our inception, one of our specialties has been screen printing high-end electronic connectors and components with a focus on marking silicone rubber materials. In addition, we also use Electrochem etching, laser marking and metal stamping for applying connector and component identification. All of our marking methods and processes meet or exceed industry and MIL standards.
