I have used Four Print for years and was initially very happy with their service. Their prices are fair and their turn around time is great. However we provided them documents to replicate that had absolutely no errors on it. With us not being in the print business we assumed they were just making a copy of the one we provided. They did send me a proof but it looked the same so I did not go over it line by line because I assumed it was a photocopy and not a document that had been recreated.
After receiving the documents we started noticing how many errors were on them and it was almost unbelievable. Its like they never bothered to run spellcheck on a document they created. The errors included calling a decedent "decadent" all the way to double letters in words. I would think being in the print business they would spellcheck a document they created or explain to the customer the document had been recreated.
I pointed out the MULTIPLE errors and they offered to allow me to purchase new ones at a 30% discount. I opted to return to my previous print shop that charges a little more but runs spell check on their items. Jay has always been a pleasure to work with but I suggest you check EVERY word when proof reading their documents as they clearly do not run spell check on their documents because if they did errors such as "cossts" would have been detected.
Our lesson is to always go line by line because you can't even assume that a print shop that specializes in print work would at a minimum spellcheck. Also always double check that the order is correct when they drop it off. Had we not been paying attention we would have been shorted half the order on our cremation authorizations as well because they delivered one box instead of two. To their credit they did deliver another box within a very timely manner.
