This guy doesn't deserve any stars but the app forces you to pick one or you can't post. I don't know how Larry got the reviews he did because he was nothing but rude and inconsiderate to me as soon as I walked into his shop! He was aggravated, and short with me and acted like he didn't want my business. He kept making it a point to say I should have called ahead of time and made an appointment, he was very busy, his artist works from home, he's the only one there; all these excuses I didn't need to hear.
It made me very uncomfortable and unwelcome. If I didn't need the shirts so badly for a cancer walk, I would have gone somewhere else. My young niece had just passed away from breast cancer and I wanted to honor her with these shirts. I didn't even originally go to his shop. I went to Dayton Design but they had moved and another tenant had suggested GreenLeaf to me.
So I went directly there. I'm sorry Larry if you are so important you can't take walk-in business! I provided Larry with a picture of the artwork I wanted. It wasn't complicated and I even asked the artist if she could do it and she said yes. They said they would send me a proof before hand to approve. 4 days later I still didnt hear anything, so I call Larry, who again sounds annoyed and rushes his conversation with me.
His artist did not send me the design so Larry sends it to me. When I looked it over, there are mistakes that did not match the artwork I provided. It was mainly size and placement, but she also clearly did not use the correct font on one line. I didn't understand how this could be missed. It was not a complicated design in any way and it was a simple outlined font. Needless to say, when I sent back the corrections, and finally got back the second proof, only one mistake had been fixed!
I did not hear back from Larry, so again I had to call him. Now it is Saturday & I need these shirts by Tuesday. When I speak with him, AGAIN, he has an attitude. When I tell him that the shirts are still not done correctly, he wants to charge me more money and once again goes into a lecture of how he has to pay his artist more money and on and on for my 'changes'.
I finally get fed up and tell him I'm sick of his tone with me. I also point out that I haven't asked for any changes so I shouldn't be charged extra money. He made the mistake for not doing my artwork correctly in the first place. I wasn't adding or changing anything in any way from the original artwork. I just wanted it to look simply as it was.
Which they couldn't even do! So then he throws in my face that he'll just give me my money back and doesn't care that he's put me in a bad position knowing I need these T-shirts. He also points out that he's not even at his shop right now. This upsets and disgusts me even more. I ask him how he can treat a customer this way and have the nerve to put his mistakes on me!
He then barked at me, accused me of harassing him and hung up on me. He then refused to answer any more of my calls to try and get my refund! This guy is a total dirtbag! I would NEVER EVER do business with him again and am spreading the word to all my friends and business associates to avoid him at all costs!
