Services
At Cone Editions Press we can print, develop, and FedEx plates to you quickly and effortlessly world-wide. We'll take a look at your request, inspect your digital file(s) and compute printing, packing, and ship charges. Once everything is good to go, we'll send you an invoice payable online for the total and then print/pack/ship your Photopolymer Gravure plates after payment is complete.
Upload an image & choose between every single paper/ink/toning and printing service combo we offer. We'll size the image to fit on an 8.511 sheet of paper and print to your desired specs. This helps if you need to edit your images before getting larger prints made. This service allows different ink/paper/toning options for every single file uploaded.
At Cone Editions Press, we make our own ink. We've been making archival pigment ink for more than 20 years and we've printed for some amazing artists with it over the years. This process makes Cone Editions Press really unique. We have a full grasp of the entire technological stack from particle to paper fibre to imaging, printing, and packing.
We invented quad-black inkjet printing back in the early 1990s. In fact, we introduced pigment inks into inkjet printers earlier than Canon, Epson and HP! Today, Piezography uses 11 different monochromatic inks, eight of which are gradated to produce tens of thousands more gray levels than can Canon, Epson or HP with their printers.
