When that special day requires custom design, we are ready to help you achieve your desired wedding suite. This couple's plans were to be married at Keenland and their couple monogram happened to be the same initials as Keeneland. Although the events of 2020 prevented the wedding from being held at Keeneland the theme, including a sketch of the original gates to the track, still provided the prefect custom look the bride desired.
Foundation for Appalachian Kentucky is grounded in the principles of rural development philanthropy, a comprehensive approach to build the capacity of our communities by engaging citizens as donors and planners. Through an intentional process of community engagement, the Foundation developed a strategic framework to be used as the basis for community building, capacity building and endowment building in communities across the region.
The Mountain Association for Community Economic Development (MACED) is a 42-year-old nonprofit that works with businesses and communities in eastern Kentucky to advance a just transition to a new economy in Central Appalachia. MACED offers loans and business guidance to existing and startup enterprises, particularly those that may not qualify for traditional financing.
