Known then as "Code Notch Lab Works", we were the eastern most professional photo lab on Long Island, and in the state of New York. That remains true today. And while the number of professional labs has dwindled by more than 50% since the Digital Revolution and the onset of the economic recession, Color Images Lab is still going strong till this day.
Color Images Lab is able to convert your photos into Canvas Prints. There is no limit to what we can print onto Canvas. We can take old photos that were restored, new images that you took with your digital camera, old Slides, Negatives, whatever! And the best part is, it is all done in house. And we edit each image to it's maximum potential before we print your final.
Giclee Prints are digital reproductions of original artwork, printed on 100% cotton canvas or watercolor paper, using special archival pigmented inks with a life span of over 100 years. We offer widths up to 44 inches and lengths up to 8 feet. Color Images Lab has been reproducing artwork since 1992, longer than most of the establishments who are now printing giclees.
Color Images Lab takes great pride in making the best possible photographic enlargements from your Digital Files, Slides, Large Format Transparencies or Negatives. A great deal of agony and time are spent on each and every image we print to ensure perfection. Over-dark areas are lightened, over-bright areas are darkened, odd colors that don't belong are removed, and the best colors of your image are artistically enhanced.

I have been using Color Images Lab before digital. They were always the most trustworthy quality lab around. Now that all my work is in the digital format I continue to receive the same quality service. Rob in patient and skilled. I have worked with him on many of my photo needs. He does it all, scanning, Photoshop corrections and high quality printing. If I need a large size print Color Images is the place to go. It's the same if your needs are just ordinary. I expect and always receive the best in photo reproduction.

Asked them to see if they can get prints from a couple photographs. Which were thumb-tacked to a wall in a shed. For 20 years. The prints they gave me were far better than I had any right to expect. The service was timely, and I was kept up to date on the process. All work seems to be done in-house, which is a very nice bonus. Proofs were provided and tweaked as I asked for.
These pictures have a lot of sentimental value, since they were of our mother and grandmother, who recently passed, . The cost for the service was not cheap, but I feel you get what you pay for. I certainly recommend Color Images for any work like this that you need done.

Asked for some prints from photos not in the best of condition. The service was excellent. They let me know what their turn around time was and made sure it worked for me. Proofs were provided and adjusted as I asked for. All work seems to be done in house, so no sending the photos off to some discount back room where they spend 1.5 minutes auto-adjusting in Photoshop. I was very impressed by the quality of work done for my prints. Certainly recommend them for your treasured photos.
