Kona Print hit the ground running in 2003 when the company's founder Jeff Singletary, a triathlete and avid surfer broke away from his family's business to forge a legacy of his own. The name came naturally since Jeff wanted his company's culture to embody the vibe of the islands, the "get the job done, but have a blast doing it."
People love wearing comfortable t-shirts, especially when they're printed with incredible graphics. But it can be hard to find a reliable screen printer who can create stunning apparel, and keep it affordable. Kona Print has been serving Houston, Texas for nearly 20 years, and we know how to make custom screen printed t-shirts people love to wear.

We've been providing custom embroidery in Baytown, Texas since we opened our doors in 2003. This company does not deserve even a star. We used them to print/produce the uniforms of a dance squad that will compete in WOD Dallas 2022, and that was our biggest mistake. They are UNDEPENDABLE, UNRELIABLE and would NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY ON THEIR PROMISE. They have two weeks to produce the uniforms but the promise date has been pushed back everyday because according to Jeanette, "Oh Jeff did not see the order, Oh I did not realize that its his day-off today, Oh the shipment has been delayed.bla.bla.bla.bla.
We tried to talk to the owner(who apparently is Jeff) but he did not talk to us. So, their solution is."I would be happy to give you a refund" on the very last day that the team has to travel to Dallas for the competition. That is how they messed us up. Stay away from these people there are more reputable printing company out there.

My company used Kona Printing for T- Shirts and Koozies for our event last year and we were highly satisfied so we planned on using them again instead of our original people. Fast forward to June 2020. We ordered a customize canopy with the same colors that were on the t-shirts and koozies. We picked up picked up our tent in July and the color was completely wrong and not what I approved.
I sent an email and picture. End of July I was told the tent was being reprinted. August comes never heard anything about our reprinted tent being complete so I follow up. They again said it was being reprinted. September- I was told I would be received the tent within a week. October- I was told they went to another vendor. At this point I am aggravated because this was ordered for a job. It is not December 1st and I have sent multiple emails, called and have gotten no response. We sent about $700 on this tent. I will never use them again.

I needed some printing done for my father's funeral service. The company I originally worked with told me the week of the service they could not do the job. I was almost hysterical and googled printing. I met with Jeannette at Kona and within an hour she had my plan set up, calmed me down and my order was beyond perfect. The cost was almost the same as quoted by the other company that could not deliver. I will always recommend this company for their professionalism, their caring and understanding of the customer and the job. It's really nice doing business with them!

I've been giving this company my business for the last few years but today this company will no longer get any of my business, not that they may seem to care. I went to place an order in March but after countless attempts of trying to get the young lady in the front to email me proof of my order or even get her to return my calls like she said she would (at least a 1/2 dozen times) I had to make 3 trips to Kona just to check on the status of my order.
Finally I spoke with a lady name Jeannette and she was able to email the proof after two weeks of trying with the young lady at the front desk. Fast forward another two weeks I still hadn't received any call about my order all the while I was being told by the young lady at the front desk that the order will be complete this week (I was told this every week for four weeks in a row).
I finally decided today to go there for a fourth time just to find out the shirts I ordered were labeled incorrectly and the invoices were still not ready. This whole experience has been totally unacceptable!

I've been going to Kona for about 3 years now and will continue. I work with Leslie every time. Her and I have a great relationship now and that's just from me ordering different items from her. She will go well out of her way to make sure my order is correct and looks great. As a new business owner she has definitely made my life a lot easier. We are good friends now and it makes ordering fun for me.

All was good when I first started going here to get stuff printed. Staff was friendly and the work I wanted printed was completed really quickly. But as time has gone by they've acted very disorganized and have given me the impression they don't want my business. I was literally told "you can go to Office Depot" (still wondering if it was a suggestion or an order.) after they failed to print one file that I sent them last Friday, it is now Thursday.
One file. 20 copies. She said "yes I can make that happen" when I asked if they would have it ready by Wednesday. Thursday by the latest. I'm obviously not alone in my problems with this printer as the other reviews suggest. Just really disappointed and extremely dissatisfied with the lack of integrity and respect from kona. You may want to consider other options for your printing needs.
