Needed to rent a u-haul and they had one available. Quoted $75-$80 for the day with expected 50 miles in-town. Seemed like a nice enough guy. Very friendly. Got charged $130+. Partially my own fault as I forgot to replace 6 gallons of gas. But I am leaving 2 stars anyway as they stated I went 79 miles. I checked and double checked the route I traveled. 4 miles from store to home, 23 miles from home to destination, 23 miles back to home, 4 miles back to store.
No other stops or drives. They claim 79 miles Actual distance traveled was 54 miles. That is a pretty bad discrepancy (25 unaccounted for miles) which tells me they either had an incorrect read when i rented the truck, or they are overcharging on purpose. Again, the guy seems nice enough so I would hope it was just an error. Will not do business with again though.
