U Build A Book

This is my second "Official" book and I decided to go with U Build A Book and I'm glad I did. Starting with the software to custom design the book which is a more visual than text based book, the drop and drag program worked great! Then working with their ordering team.they follow through on everything in a timely manner. The only problem there was the final wait for printing but I guess due to our world's current issues everything was backed up.

Now regarding the book itself. BEAUTIFUL colors. This book regarding The Beatles, already is selling around the world and I'm getting quite the compliments in regards to how nice it looks. It's available to order and will soon be on Amazon! - Ray Zirkle(Advertising The Beatles Vol. 2)

Overdue for a review. Our elementary school made the decision to switch yearbook vendors. It was a tough choice because we would lose an in person rep who was helpful. The only reason we shopped around was pricing. We requested a sample from Ubuildabook and they shipped a great looking product to us immediately. We were thrilled to see that they used the same software as our previous company, so there was no learning curve.

I was nervous about them being online and on a different coast, but the service is TOP NOTCH! After looking at many on-line printing sources for a batch of hardcover books, I'm very pleased that we selected UBuildABook. Their staff and their online tools were very helpful, especially for estimating and designing the cover and spine artwork. This was my first time using U Build A Book after having some bad experiences with other print on demand companies and I was more than a little nervous being on a tight timeline to have some books printed up for an event. I came across U Build A Book online and was immediately impressed with their user friendly interface and samples on their website.

I uploaded my files with no problem (which is amazing because I had spent a nightmarish week previously trying to upload my files to another website with no success) and emailed with incredibly sweet and helpful people who reassured me they'd have the book to me in time for the event and upgraded me free of charge to a premium cover and nicer paper for my publication.

The art department worked with me step by step to make sure my cover was formatted perfectly and were very patient with me even as I messed up multiple times. In a super short amount of time, all my books were delivered to my doorstep and came out BEAUTIFULLY. My school did its yearbooks with them. They were attentive, and patient with all our questions on their software. They gave us a production schedule and reminded us when things were due. They helped center and put text on our cover. We chose to do a hardcover for the first time and it came out gorgeous. We received upgraded and premium paper as well as black end sheets. We sold white, gold and silver pens and the kids had a blast signing each others books. I can't say enough good about this company.

They produce everything from art books and yearbooks, to personal memory books. They will happily send you samples of various products so that you can see the quality of their books as well as select the covers and papers you prefer. They also produce books in any size, which was a big draw for me. Blurb and many other printers only produce standard sized books. Publishing a book can be an emotional process.

The folks at U Build a Book guide you through it with kindness and professionalism. Though the name of the company may be cheesy sounding, the quality of their product and the customer service they provide is absolutely The Best. You won't go wrong in choosing U Build a Book.

My expectations were in align with the price. It would be above average and that was fine. My 5-stars gives away the ending. The quality was indistinguishable from a major print company: solid binding, perfect lamination, deep blacks, crisp pages cut with precision delivered on the early-end of their promised timeline.

I recently had a large shipment of hardcover art books printed with this company, and they did an amazing job! They were very helpful, easy to get in touch with, and the books turned out perfect. Nothing damaged, great print quality, and rich colors. Definitely recommend, especially to artists, if you need a book printed!

I want to update my review! I have ordered another 1,000 copies of a new book I created called A Real Food Alphabet, so I am a repeat customer now. Dennis shared with me that they have purchased new equipment and when I received the cover proof, I could tell immediately. The color is a much closer match! Steve, from the art department, has been very helpful to me as I prepared my book for print. I am happy I've continued to choose to work with this company and appreciate all the care and support they offer!

This is my first time having a photo book printed and I am very happy with the results. I went on a vacation this summer with a few friends and wanted to surprise them with photo book of our vacation. A friend suggested U Build A Book because of their easy to use photo book software and quick turn-around time. It's nice because they have several photo layout templates that make it easy to arrange photos in the book.

They also have several cool borders and frames to add flare. The layout process took much less time than I anticipated because of the templates and quick photo upload. The books arrived this week, less than 2 weeks after I ordered them, and they look awesome! The printing quality is topnotch. The pictures look great and I can't wait to surprise my friends with the books.

I'm so happy! I wanted to get a couple photobooks printed from my last vacation I went on and was having trouble finding a solution that was easy to use. After a painful experience with a website that was slow and tedious, I was recommended U Build a Book through a friend and decided to try it out. First off they have their own photobook software you download and use on your computer, so you don't need to go through a super slow web browser tool that crashes every time you add a photo.

From the different templates they provide I picked out a Lay-flat design good for coffee table viewing with friends and went to work. Very easy to compile photos and each page was fully customizable with borders, frames and different backgrounds based on my theme I selected. This was a cakewalk compared to the first company I chose. What surprised me most was the quality of the full-bleed pages I mixed in with the rest of the book.

They printed straight and exactly as they looked in the software. Needless to say I was impressed when the books arrived a day after they printed, nicely packaged with some goodies to boot. Their website says they print just about everything book related. Convenient cause I already have the software to make another book from my next vacation in December.

We used Ubuildabook for our school yearbooks. We were very impressed with their hands on customer service and reasonable pricing so that all our students could afford hardcover books. Our school has used them for the last two years, and I've been very pleased with them. They have worked with us on scheduling and even managed to do an emergency last minute printing of a handful of books that were needed due to a clerical error at my school. The books were great quality and looked exactly as I envisioned (not like the old yearbook company that could never figure out where to crop the pages!).

I cannot say enough good about this company!! I just did books for my daughters for Christmas and they were exactly what I wanted them to be. I know I drove Amanda in customer service crazy as I fretted and worried that I wouldn't get them in time for Christmas since I had submitted them at the end of November but she was so gracious and sweet and reassuring and I got them back in plenty of time.
