The Flying Cow has been designing and printing custom t-shirts in Columbia, Missouri since 1973. Originally called "Greek World", we used to work almost exclusively with Mizzou Sororities and Fraternities. Over the years, as our clientele expanded to include more local businesses, schools, and other organizations, we decided it was time to rebrand.In 1996, we officially changed our name to The Flying Cow Shirt Company. Our whimsical name was inspired by our customers, staff, and industry. In the early 2000s, The Flying Cow was bought by Missouri Cotton Exchange, another locally owned custom apparel company.

Screen Printing uses thick inks, printed one color at a time, to create a design that sits on top of the fabric. It's the process that most companies use to create custom t-shirts in bulk. Once the inks are cured, your screen-printed design should hold up longer than the shirt itself! Our most common screen-printing projects are: officially licensed Greek apparel, athletic team uniforms, school spirit wear, retail clothing, company uniforms (for local businesses AND out-of-state), and collegiate apparel for the University of Missouri, Stephens College, Columbia College, Westminster College, Lincoln University, William Woods, Truman State University, UMSL, UMKC, CMU, and more!

I recently purchase three T-Shirts from The Flying Cow. I was pleased, when I first opened them, to see that the ink really did change color on the eclipse design as advertised. It's a lovely shirt. That's the good. I ordered three shirts of the same size. I received three shirts, of the same brand that say they are the same size. but are very different in size. The shirts are of poor quality and a very odd and crooked fit. The reasonable price should have been my clue. Buyer beware I suppose.

Flying Cow has been my go-to producer for all the shirts I ordered as apparel chair for my Fraternity. Their art department is great at making designs and in general everything from customer service, t-shirt options, and delivery times have been fantastic. I highly recommend Flying Cow for ordering t shirts, in my personal experience they have never let me down.
