Garland Printing was started by E.F. "Breezy" and Charlotte Bruesehoff in the basement of their home with only one hand fed printing press and a Linotype machine for producing the metal type in use at that time. For the first ten years, Garland Printing served its customers from the basement shop. This was the year that the business outgrew its basement location and the print shop moved lock, stock and presses to 817 West Garland. Increasing business opportunities led to the purchase of a Goss Community Web press.
This 54 latex printer is ideal for producing banners, signs, posters, fine art prints, and other large printing requirements. We have the experience to properly scan and color balance your images, providing you with the results which will make your printed piece effective. We provide complete typesetting and layout services, as well as final touch-up work on files created with: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and other programs from Mac and PC platforms. We have a number of one and two-color sheetfed presses which are used to print everything from simple business cards to full-color brochures, posters, stationery and other high-quality jobs.
Make sure you select the right color type: spot, process or Pantone. Any spot or Pantone color must have an identical name defined in your layout and its associated files to prevent the color from being treated as a process color. CVU, CV, etc. extensions to the color name must also be identical in all associated files.
Choosing the fonts for a particular project can be a difficult process for many people. There are a few general rules that many designers and layout artists follow to make the process a little easier. Keep the contrast between the type and the background as high as possible for easy readability. Black type on a white background is best; reversing is second.

Both men working the store were very dismissive and rude. I was charged for the labor of him photoshopping out the spots that were on the copy machine glass, which ended up costing me more than $30 to copy and print 2 works of mine (I did get two copies of each). I wish I was treated decently because I love to support local businesses whenever possible.
