Versa Press is a family owned business located in East Peoria, Illinois. We are a leading manufacturer of trade, religious, educational, medical, university, and commercial publications. We are currently seeking applicants interested in starting a career in the printing industry. Successful applicants will join our team in the Machine Operator Program. Versa Press, Inc. is a rapidly growing book manufacturer serving a nationwide customer base. We have been in business since 1937 and are currently one of the largest book manufacturers in the nation.
The materials that go into our books come from suppliers that share our environmental commitment. We provide our customers with paper selections that are from sustainable sources which are harvested responsibly. Providing a safe and healthful workplace and ensuring that personnel are properly trained with the appropriate safety and emergency equipment.
Versa Press has a modern, state of the art prepress department. We accept most widely used prepress layouts and design file formats. A strategic advantage to our customers is our ability to receive PDF files through the internet and process them into fully imposed lithographic plates using equipment by Kodak and Screen, leaders in precise proof and plate production.

Attention Truckers: Driving here the roads leading to this place may be a bit tight, have your tandems adjusted accordingly. But once on site its not difficult to manage. If delivering the receiving office is gonna be on the west side (birds eye view) of the building. Go inside and check in and they'll assign you a door. Backing here is easy. Once they unload you they'll give you signed BOL's. Overall the receivers are very friendly and I would deliver here again. Just be mindful of the journey getting to this place and it should be smooth sailing!

Going on now. Was ask to deliver early arrived back into a door 13 last night( 4:30 ) Now7 am next day Went back in and was told by reciver that appointment was for 10. So I ask why back me in a door? Was to didn't know even thou no other truck here would not start to unld. Moral of this story very poor communication. Better to show up late then early.

I had no voice in the choice of a printer, that decision was up to the publisher, but boy golly was I wowed by the splendid job Versa did on my book! The color renderings of every one of the 190 photographs are perfect as are the 84 colored maps and illustrations. The book has garnered awards and plaudits for its high quality and beauty. Versa handled the book's second and third printings without a hitch. Just beautiful work!
