I hate bad reviews, and don't often write any, but this one felt necessary. This was the most frustrating experience I have every had working with a print shop. Very poor communication. First of all I requested a quote one week ago, and it took over 10 emails and 6 phone calls just to finally get a correct quote. After 5 days of emails and phone calls I finally received a quote - for the wrong material.
And then on the day the order was due (and promised could be fulfilled) I received a quote that was higher then any other print shop in the LA area! Now due to poor communication and delays I am scrambling with back up plans to fulfill an order for a client. I highly DO NOT recommend. It seems like from the other reviews, this company can deliver on occasion, but EXTREMELY INCONSISTENT AND UNRELIABLE.

I chose this company, because it was close to me. I called on the phone to ask what will be the price for printing 2 photos 8'x10' size and a woman told me the price and said that they will be ready after an hour. So I went to pick them up after an hour. A man gave me my photos and told me that the price would be twice expensive compared with the woman told me.
I don't agree with the new price and the man said that I will pay the initial one. My disappointment was when I was preparing the money, the man started to explain that they had to change the set-up of the machine for my pictures and that is the reason why he told me twice more expensive price. I said that this was not my problem. After he heard my words, he told me that he did not want to make business with me. WTF!
I ordered a service and I expected to receive it for the price I was told and for the time they needed to do this service. If he wants to charge twice more expensive price, he should told me that in the first place. I was so disappointed from his behavior and the way he do business. I will not recommended them to anyone.

I had a magazine article that I needed superimposed so I could frame it as a gift for my boyfriend who was in it. Dan did the photoshop and did an amazing job in less than a day it was ready. I am impressed with their work and professionalism. Everyone was very nice and helpful. They gave me several copies and the price was reasonable for the work they do. I highly recommend this place, much better than Kinkos Fedex! Thank you!

If I could, I would rate LA Prints without any stars. Giving them one is being generous. The other reviews that say the customer service here is great must have interacted with people I did not because these guys wouldn't know customer service if it hit them in the head. There are many other printing shops around. Go to anyone but LA Prints.

Very bad customer service the quality of their business cards are very poor. Not only that I decided to write an e-mail to them to let them know that I was not happy with my order. I receive an e-mail a couple of minutes later from la print saying I am very happy to hear from you and your decision I prefer not to work with you and your company either. WHAT A WAY TO KEEP YOUR BUSINESS GOING LOST ME AS A CUSTOMER AND I WILL DEFINITELY NOT BE REFERRING ANYONE TO THIS PLACE. very rude and unorganized

Absolutely perfect. I had a last minute order I needed to put in and they were able to get it to me within the hour. I couldn't find a place more affordable. Very happy with the service. I wish I had just been going there to get all my printing needs instead of constantly buying ink and paper from office max. I would have saved so much money!

I loathe writing bad reviews, but truth is what we're all looking for on here, and this is the truth. I had great experiences with LA Print, with Dan and Morris. I had a shorthand with them and they did a great turnaround (wait for the reason for 2 stars). Things got weird when I decided to upgrade my company's product label material to a material LA Prints didn't offer, but which was right for MY business.
I noticed Morris, the owner, was short on the phone, but I mostly dealt with Dan. Morris went out of town, and things went smoothly. Well, when Morris got back and I called to speak to Dan, Morris picked up the phone and was extremely rude. I asked him about it, why he had changed his demeaner, and he told me, verbatim, to find another printer, that I had gone around to other printers.
He was like a hurt boyfriend. I calmly pointed out I went to one printer (I'm not a printer slut) only for those labels he DIDN'T HAVE and still came to him for everything else. He still told me to find another place! Then, he ignored me telling him not to use the credit card on file and charged it that day. I had told him I would bring in the new card when I picked up my flyers. I had to pay fees on my card because of it. If you don't want drama, don't go here.

DO NOT USE THIS PRINTER! I do a lot of print work for my job and have never had such a negative experience as I have with this printer. I had a simple job and gave them a week long turn around and they were late, didn't contact me, VERY rude and unorganized and are wanting to charge more than other places! I STILL do not have my order and my deadline has passed. I strongly recommend that you do not use this printer.
