Blue Sky Printing

Blue sky printed 5k double sided color postcard for us quickly, well, and affordably. The transaction was pleasant all around. I originally tried OfficeMax- Big mistake huge. I needed this job done quickly so I didn't shop around. I usually try to shop local - this was my punishment for deviating. Not being familiar with the area, I went with what I thought to be a reputable big chain to churn out my mailing fast.

The printing job was overpriced, slow, unpleasant, and ultimately never completed. They took two days to tell me they wanted more money on top of the already outrageous price and a week to give back my money. They needed 30 seconds to take my money off my card and a week to put it back. Every employee of OfficeMax bungled every step of the process.

Lesson learned: never again. Shop local people! Blue sky gave us a great price, they helped us with the graphics, the printing looked great, It was done very quickly, and every employee was friendly and helpful! So glad we found blue sky to help us!

For two months my artwork sat on a shelf. I was informed that I would be contacted, but never was. I was initially working with David. When I went in today to pick my illustration, everyone was very polite. Unfortunatly the nice woman working the front counter had no clue how to handle an original graphite work. She picked up my art pinching it between her thumb and fingers, instead of with open palm on the sides. Lastly, this incompetence cost me a sale as the art work was sold but was never delivered. Thumbs absolutely down for not keeping made contractual promises, a severe lack of communication, and the poor handling of origional art. If I could give less than one star I would.

Best customer service I have experienced in a long LONG time. I am designing some invitations for a wedding and needed the base of the invitation printed and will be doing the rest with a Cricut cutting machine. I provided my own paper and they were more than willing to help me with my project. David helped me figure out the layout for printing and even helped me with creating a template for making it easier and accurate when I go to use my Cricut. Not to mention, the prints came out beautiful! I am very grateful for all of their help. I will definitely be returning!

I get a lot of business printing done with blue sky, mostly small orders and one-page laminations. The work is always incredibly fast, high quality, and affordable. David is my go-to guy and is very flexible and helpful, because I work across the street my availability to pickup isn't very regular but he's always able to do the best he can to work with my schedule!

Everyone I've met there was very nice and didn't treat my silly questions like they were stupid. It's nice having such a great local print shop, especially when where I work doesn't have a printer and none of the employees do, either. I'd recommend blue sky to anyone!

I was shopping around for quotes for a box of business cards via email. Not only did they respond quickly but they provided me the best options without trying to up sell me anything. The best part was the job had only taken less than two days. Definitely coming back to restock.

I contacted Blue Sky by email over the Christmas-New Year's holiday, not knowing the office was closed. Nevertheless, an employee sent a reply and I was able to arrange to have some wrestling posters printed up on the next day that they were open. This is a business run like I run my own. Two thumbs up.

I needed business cards printed last minute (24-hours) and the associate that I worked with personally took care of me the entire process. She was very realistic as far as what I could expect in that amount of time and gave me all options upfront. There weren't many other places that offered such a quick turnaround with the same quality - other than the do it yourself option (which I didn't trust myself to conquer). Bluesky Printing always has the best price. They do small run off-set jobs when others won't, which means you can still get high-quality printing in a world of digital online ordered crap.

I really hate to write a negative review, because I always try to support independent businesses, but this time I was disappointed. I had an audition for a local community theater production and needed a headshot, and my printer at home was out of ink, so instead of just heading straight to FedEx, I looked up local print shops. I found Blue Sky Printing, so I moved the file onto my flash drive and headed into Poulsbo.

When I got there, the folks behind the desk didn't notice or greet me right away, but that was not really a big deal. What was problematic was that when I gave them my flash drive, the guy plugged it into his computer and asked me for the file name. I couldn't remember it, but I knew it was a standalone file (just a.jpg, nothing fancy) and not in a folder.

The place is "full service" and the computer he was using was behind a desk, so there was no way for me to search for it myself, but the guy couldn't find it. He only did a cursory search lasting about thirty seconds, and just insisted that it wasn't there even though I knew I had uploaded it. I ended up having to go to FedEx anyway because they were open later and I could just do it myself.

And yes, the file was on my flash drive. I really would have liked to give that money to Blue Sky Printing instead, but I'm afraid their ineptitude rendered that impossible.
