I called and talked to Kurt the service coordinator and I asked about my Canon MG3620 and explained the problem. Mr. Kurt listened and explained that the cost of the part is not worth the repair and just to replace the printer. I checked the price of the part I needed and he was right! The part costs $79.99 and a new printer costs $99 through Amazon. Thank you A-Plus Printer Services and your honesty. You saved me some travel, time and money.

This review is long overdue. I contacted A Plus on March 3 regarding paper jammed in my ancient (but fabulous) HP Laserjet 1100; this was a few days before moving out of state. When I dropped it off Kurt said it would take a couple of days and they would call me on Saturday. I imagined that they'd call to tell me how long it would take to fix; instead, they called me on Friday and said it would be ready for pick up after 2 PM. Turned out that Kurt had to open the printer to remove the jam and it was covered by the non refundable diagnostic fee. That was quick turnaround was unexpectedly awesome!

Oh, brother, Murphy showed up this am. I got a piece of paper jammed in my HP printer that even my best surgical skills could not extract. This is the second occasion I have used the services of A Plus and they definitely have the right name. Kurt is an absolute prince. He took my printer in around 11:30 am and I picked it up at 2 pm. It's happily back in place and doing its job. If you need printer services, this is the place to go. A+++

With my home office printer gone bad last night. I tried to look up for a nearest printer repair shop. I came across A-Plus Printer Services. So I called them. I was told that they do not repair my printer type but Kurt who answered my call gave me a list of easy self diagnostic steps, do's and dont's about the print ink cartridges and print heads.
I'm truly impressed by Kurt's knowledge and how professional he was on the phone with me (for over 5 - 7 min) and explained all the DIY steps to get me printer back in Service. Thank you!

Having issues with my WF-3640 took apart myself to tried to fix it and it did not work. Gave this guys a call to ask about a part and give me their opinion and they were very helpful. We called A Plus Printer on a Thursday and Kurt came out to our business on Monday the following week. We have 2 HP laser printers, one we thought we were going to have to throw out. Kurt came in and fixed the one and put a maintenance kit in the other and they are both running great now. We could not be happier. He was professional, very respectful and quick. He was done in 30 minutes and both our printers are running smoothly again. We could not be happier and would recommend them to anyone.

My Brother inkjet printer stopped printing the Magenta color as the nozzle was plugged up. I called and spoke to the tech person who advised to let the printer sit overnight t as the ink plug up may resolve itself as the printer ink may recede and open up. The printer had already been sitting so ran it through the Brother internal inkjet cleaning process as per the instructions on the printer.
As the tech advised, the printer nozzle that was plugged up now works! Saved me a service call and expensive repair. He also gave advise on what to do if the regular cleaning process didn't work. Very pleased and would use these folks for assistance in the future if I run into a more serious issue. Kind to take the time to assist on the phone.

Kurt came to my rescue when my Canon Printer stopped working. This was a stressful situation for me since I need my printer everyday for work. Kurt took my printer in the same day for repair and had it ready for me three days later and in "tip-top" shape! I am so grateful to Kurt for helping me out quickly, and with a minimal cost. I work for Castro Valley School District in the Technology department. We handle IT for 14 school sites. Kurt from A Plus Printer Services handles all our printer needs. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to printers and their repair. We have many different models of laser printers which he repairs and maintains for our district. Kurt responds quickly to our service requests and many times is able to repair the device on-site.

I have two large HP printers in my two offices and both of them had issues galore, scanning anything produced lines on the documents, and I was quickly coming to the conclusion that they just needed to go and I needed to buy brand new ones, which would have been a considerable expense. However, in a last ditch effort of sorts I went to Yelp and found A Plus printers and they were miracle workers! Kurt the manager was able to come to my offices in Walnut Creek rather than having me to drive out to Hayward where their offices are, no problem. in fact, with my printer there were so many issues Kurt took it back to their main offices and then promptly returned it to me.
The service provided by A plus printers is as good as it gets! Not only are their prices far more reasonable than any other place I found, but Kurt is incredibly warm and friendly too. I highly recommend them.

What a pleasure it was to work with Kurt. We were a small preschool with a broken printer. Kurt came to our school, picked up the printer, and took it back to his workspace. He recommended we replace the unit instead of repairing it. He charged us a very small fee for his professional assessment and recycled the printer for us. He also gave us guidance on a new machine, which was so helpful. He was knowledgeable and friendly in all interactions and prompt with communications. I would not hesitate to seek his help in the future.

I had an Epson WF-3640 printer. Kurt, service manager, gave me an honest assessment over the phone. Based on his experience with that particular model, he saved me the trouble of attempting to repair what would have been a no win situation. Just spoke with Kurt the Service Manager. I must say, he was friendly and very knowledgeable on my needs. He recommended me buying a new printer. He could have tried to sell me a repair job. He said I would be wasting my money. Wow, I was shocked. He was very honest and spent a considerable amount of time with me. They have been in my area for over 20 years I recommend highly! 5 stars. I called to see if my Canon Maxify printer with an internal error code could be repaired. I explained that I got the printer on sale for 99bucks at Fry's a few years ago. They told me they would take it apart and look at it. Then, much to my surprise, they called me back and said that the error code was an internal part that would cost more to repair than just replace with new printer and they did not want to rip me off.
This is the type of service that made Nordstrom popular! Very rare to see customer service, especially when no money is exchanged, like this anymore. Due to the honesty of service tech that I talked to, I would highly recommend this business to anyone needing printer repairs!

My HP printer was giving issues and called A Plus Printer Services to see if someone will be able to come to my office and see what was wrong with it and fix it. Kurt, the service manager who attended the call was able to troubleshoot the problem over the phone. He gave me couple of options to try to make the printer working. We met the store owner Kurt, he is a very nice gentlemen, give us a free estimate, and professional recommendation! He didn't recommend me to pay for fixing my old HP printer! I googled Printer Repair and A Plus Printer Services was the first place that popped up. I tried contacting several places and this was the only place I heard back from. I received a response the next day about getting a quote. Kurt helped me and even tried to help me over the phone but I knew the printer repair was beyond my abilities. So I brought the printer to Kurt while they are in transition into their new location. Kurt contacted several of his vendors to find the best deal on the parts needed. Once getting the quote from Kurt we proceeded to have him repair the printer. He did a great job. Thank you Kurt!

Two years ago we bought a color laser printer, for our office. last week I had some problems. I called everyone on google near me and to my surprise only A-Plus had a live technician to answer my call. The technician came to our office and serviced the printer for a very reasonable price. We were referred to them by the Computer Center of Hayward because we had a printer problem that needed to be resolved ASAP. They walked us through several ways to get the printers running again and it worked. They made sure we did everything we could before coming out and billing us for something so small. I talked to Kurt, the service manager. I had an Epson Stylus 3880 that had problems printing the black inks. I wasn't sure if it could be repaired or not. I had been using the printer for almost 10 years, so I put it to good use for a long time. When I described the problem to Kurt, he told me that it wasn't worth diagnosing, so I didn't waste my time bringing it in and spending money for essentially nothing. I appreciated his honesty. I guess it's time to buy a new printer!
